Hi Everyone, Ingrid here!

I’ve been face painting for over 18 years, all over Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula.

It all started when my girls were little. I bought a basic face-painting kit to paint their faces for a Fairy Emma concert. One thing led to another and, before I knew it, I was dressing up in fairy outfits and face painting every weekend!

I never would have guessed that I was destined to become a fairy face-painting artist!

These days, I’ve traded the wings for a more stylish, quirky and garden-inspired look — but I think a little bit of fairy magic is still very much part of what I do!

Before face painting took over, I was a gymnastics coach and owned my own Kinder Gym business for eight years, so I spent plenty of time working with children even before I had my own.

Later, I returned to study, completing a Diploma of Nursing followed by a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy.

The wonderful thing is that I still absolutely love face painting — and the joy it brings to people of all ages is incredibly rewarding.

I take great pride in creating high-quality designs quickly, while making everyone I paint feel unique and special — because that’s what we all are: unique and special. :)

We all need a little more sparkle in life, and if I can bring smiles to lots of faces along the way, my job is done!
